Colon Health and Cancer Awareness Event to be Held

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer will hold a colon health and cancer awareness event on Wednesday, March 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Cancer Center at 536 Saybrook Road in Middletown. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature a “Meet the Experts” panel presentation with physician specialists who will provide the latest information on colon health and colon cancer, followed by a question and answer period.
There will also be exhibits featuring information on nutrition and colon health, colorectal screening and colonoscopies, the Cancer Center Patient Resource Library, American Cancer Society programs, genetic services, and support groups for patients and children. A home test for colon disease will also be available free of charge to all those in attendance.
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Angelico’s Lake House Restaurant of East Hampton.
