Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a medical procedure during which a physician examines the interior of a hollow vessel or organ using a special camera-like device called an endoscope.

Middlesex Hospital's Shoreline Medical Center has a dedicated endocopy suite equipt to perform a variety of procedures. One example of a commonly performed procedure is a colonoscopy.
